Dr. Christine E. Hunt
Dr. Hunt is a NC State graduate and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from
Oklahoma State University. She has practiced small animal medicine, dentistry, and
surgery in Greensboro since 1983.
In 2003, she opened University Animal Hospital of
Greensboro PLLC.
Dr. Hunt professional interests lie in geriatric medicine, pain management, and comprehensive dentistry. As the first veterinarian to manage Guilford County Animal Shelter, she was instrumental in spearheading the construction of the Vallett-Walsh Adoption Center. Dr. Hunt is still actively involved in veterinary support for animal rescue groups.
In her free time, Dr. Hunt enjoys wildlife adventure outings. Her most recent favorites include reef snorkeling in the Caribbean and diving with wild seals and sea lions in the
Sea of Cortez.
